The house is located at 9 Weaver Terrace, Bulli, and has a price guide of $2,590,000 to $2,660,000.
Sitting on 602sqm and split over three levels, the home contains five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The property provides direct access to the Illawarra coastal walking and cycle track and Sandon Point surf break.
Owners Yani and Natalie Bogeski built the home, completing it in 2008.
Mr Bogeski, an IT worker, said the home had been a "labour of love", and described it as "spacious" and "extremely liveable".
Mr Bogeski said among his favourite features of the home were the location and views, and the ability to "sit there and watch the ocean".
"I enjoy the amount of sun that it gets, how efficient it is in electricity and warming," he said.
"It's always warm in winter, cool in summer.
"And I also like the size of it - it works well as a family home. It's all open, but it's still got enough space to be by yourself if you need to be.
"The area is quiet enough that you're out of Sydney, but you're close enough to travel to the city... And you've got all the peace and quiet of being up here on the northern beaches."
Mr Bogeski said they were selling in order to downsize and move closer to Wollongong.
He believed the property would be well-suited to a young family, particularly those with teenagers.
Selling agent, Laurence Morgan director John O'Reilly said the home was located in a highly desirable location, and was attracting plenty of early interest from locals and Sydney-siders.
"It's north-facing, got ocean views, very peaceful and has that private road," he told the Mercury.
"It's one row back, so it is private."
Mr O'Reilly said it was a "well thought-out property".

"It's got ocean views from not only the living space, but from the dining, the kitchen, the main bedrooms," he said.
"You'll always feel like you're on holiday there, and it's full of natural light.
"The coastal life there, it doesn't get any better.
"East Bulli for me now is probably some of the best real estate we've got on our coast.
"It's locals all year round; you don't have the tourists, the weekend warriors coming down and taking up the beach. It has a local feel all year round."
Other features include a private barbecue area with private side access offering an ideal space for a teenager's hangout.
There is also the opportunity to run your business from home downstairs with a private entry and car space.
