For those who fish Lake Illawarra, there is a community survey being conducted and will include two information public forum nights to have your say.
It’s co-ordinated by both Wollongong City and Shellharbour City council who are preparing a Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) with support from the Office of Environment and Heritage.
The CZMP will allow the various agencies responsible for managing the lake to work together to target their limited resources to the issues that will result in the greatest environmental improvements.
To have your say attend one of the Community drop-in sessions on November 28-29, details at http://haveyoursaywollongong.com.au/lake-illawarra-coastal-zone-management-plan
