A congenital heart condition has led little Laycee Davidson to spend way too much time in hospital in her seven years, but a recent visit was purely about fun.

The Primbee girl was chosen as one of 10 official toy testers - or Amazon Playmakers - by the Starlight Children's Foundation.
She took her "dream job" very seriously - sitting down with a couple of other young patients at Randwick Children's Hospital on Monday to review Amazon's top 100 holiday toy list.
Australian singer and cancer survivor Johnny Ruffo made the special delivery of toys to the Sydney hospital, and helped unwrap them along with a couple of 'superheroes' from the children's charity.

"The Starlight Foundation is amazing, and their visits are always the highlight of Laycee's stay in hospital," her mother Louise said.
"It was nice for her to go to hospital and not be prodded and poked, but instead have fun with the other kids reviewing all the toys."
Laycee had to undergo open-heart surgery at 20 hours old due to a combination of rare and dangerous heart defects.
"Laycee has two conditions known as Ebstein anomaly and pulmonary atresia," Mrs Davidson said.
"When she was born her pulmonary artery was blocked, meaning there was no chance of blood flowing from her heart to her lungs for oxygenation.
"So the surgery connected her arm artery to her lungs to create a bypass for the blood to flow through."
However Laycee's oxygen saturation levels again began to drop, requiring her to undergo open-heart surgery at two months old.
"Surgeons put some cow valves in to redirect the artery in her neck to her lungs," Mrs Davidson said.
"That lasted for some time, but she had to have another surgery when she was four-and-a-half years old."

There's no cure for Laycee's heart condition, she requires ongoing medication and treatment and so she's been a regular visitor to the Sydney children's hospital.
"We try not to stop her from doing anything but she does know her limitations - she can't run or anything that requires too much stamina," Mrs Davidson said.
"She's been hospitalised many times - in April she had to be defibrillated as her heart rate was stuck at 240 beats per minute.
"Surgeons can't redirect or modify any more; the worst case scenario would be that she will eventually need a heart transplant.
"We just keep hoping that medical science will keep progressing and uncover other options for us."
Mrs Davidson said being asked to be a toy tester was a "dream come true" for Laycee - who loved watching clips of kids opening toys on YouTube.
"She got to keep all the toys she opened," she said. "She had an amazing time."
This week toys will also be delivered to official testers at children's hospitals in other states.
Amazon Australia will then create a limited edition toy catalogue online, complete with the kids' reviews. The company will donate $5 per toy to Starlight.
Johnny Ruffo, Amazon Playmaker ambassador, said: "As someone who knows the ups and downs of being in-and-out of hospital, I'm honoured to join in on this initiative and highlight the amazing work that the Starlight Children's Foundation does".
