Ahead of a night spent out in the cold, Healthy Cities Illawarra CEO Kelly Andrews is adamant that "something has to give".

Not for her - although it will be just 13 degrees outside on Thursday night she plans to be wrapped up in her winter woolies, cuddling into a borrowed sleeping bag.
But for the 100,000 plus people in Australia who dont have a home to sleep in.
"I think this year the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a little bit different," she said.
"With the housing crisis and the need for social and affordable housing, I think this complex issue has come to a head."
Ms Andrews was born in Wollongong and Vinnies helped her family after it moved to Port Pirie when she was five - soomething she credits her strong sense of social justice to.
"Homelessness is an injustice," she said. "It's not a minority problem anymore, it's hitting the mainstream. Something has to give."
Ms Andrews has raised more than $3000 for Vinnies as part of the CEO Sleepout, and hopes the publicity from the event, as well as the networking it facilitates, will lead to real change.
