Shoalhaven City Council approves Bomaderry Hungry Jacks' proposal

KMC Orange Pty Ltd, of Newcastle will build a Hungry Jacks outlet in Bomaderry, with Ben Isaac, of Isaac Property Developments, whose company has developed the highway service centre saying in a social media post, "the last stage of the centre was one step closer."

The site at 269 Princes Highway, Bomaderry which is already home of the Shell Coles Express petrol station, a tyre business, along with a couple of other fast food outlets.

Plans show the $646,213 construction will be built to the north of the petrol station between it and the Bridgestone Tyre business.

Mr Issaac's post welcomed the approval of the freestanding Hungry Jacks outlet and drive-through, saying it had been pre-sold prior to the original development application to an eager investor, "along with the adjoining Bridgestone tyre centre."

"It shows the strength of the current convenience retail market," his post said, while he also thanked his hard working team for making the project possible.

The 250 square metre facility will include an internal dining area with a seating capacity of 50 plus a dual lane drive-through able to accommodate 13 vehicles and two waiting bays.

It is planned for the business to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The project will also see the reconfiguration of hard stand car parking area resulting in a total of 34 car parks across the entire lot, while business identification and signage will also be included in the layout, along with loading bay, plant room, and bin room.

It will be the second Hungry Jacks store for the area, with another located on the Princes Highway at South Nowra.
