A single-level home in Werri Beach sold last week after two bidders fought hard for it at auction.
The home at 62 Renfrew Road, Werri Beach sold for $2.55 million.
Only a short walk from the water's edge of Werri Beach, the four-bedroom family home sits on 860 square metres.
Other features include covered alfresco areas and in-ground pool.
Two bidders fought it out for the home, placing nine bids between them.
Bidding kicked off at $2.35 million, and quickly jumped up in $50,000 increments, and then $25,000 and $20,000 increments.
A final pair of $5000 bids eventually sealed the deal.
Selling agent, Kate Morgan from Ray White Gerringong said both active bidders were from outside of the area.
She said the successful buyer was Sydney-based, and the home's appeal was its position close to the beach, while also being "an immaculate home, single-level, beautifully finished".

The buyer of a North Wollongong apartment learnt the value of actually showing up for an auction on Friday, securing a home for just under the reserve price.
The two-bedroom property at 204/29 Virginia Street, North Wollongong sold for $945,000 under the hammer, with a solitary bid placed.
The apartment boasted enjoys a north-facing aspect with a garden outlook. The reserve price was $950,000.
Selling agent, Christian Zeidler from McGrath Wollongong said there was one registered bidder, who was motivated to buy.
"The beauty of it was that it was a one-on-one negotiation between himself and the owner," he said.
"With the auction being transparent, he could see that it was just him... And they cut a deal together at $945,000.
"It was like a negotiation on the auction floor, and because it was done on the auction floor it was locked in, with no cooling off period, which the seller was pleased about."
Mr Zeidler said the buyer was relocating back to the Illawarra.
