Carlton winger Blake Acres has been rewarded for his strong form with a two-year contract extension, tying him to the AFL club until the end of 2027.

Acres is at his third club, having spent the first six years of his career at St Kilda before a three-season stint at Fremantle.
The 28-year-old joined Carlton at the end of 2022 after receiving a lower-than-expected extension offer at Fremantle, and the move has proven a good one.
Acres averaged a career-high 23 disposals in 25 games last year to help Carlton reach the preliminary final, and he's averaging 22.5 disposals this season, to go with seven goals.
Acres, who was already contracted for next year, ranks second at Carlton this season for disposals while sitting in the top five for goal assists, inside-50s and intercept possessions.
The Western Bulldogs have re-signed forward Rhylee West for a further two years, securing his services until the end of 2026.
West, the son of Bulldogs legend Scott West, has kicked a career-high 17 goals across 13 games this season, including four in his team's 67-point rout of Fremantle on June 15.
The 23-year-old has played 50 games since being taken as a father-son selection with pick No.26 in the 2018 national draft.
"Since I got here six years ago, the group has been very tight. I've grown with this group, and also seen them grow too," West said in a statement.
"Reflecting on my journey so far, it's obviously been a bit of a longer one - getting to 50 games - but I'm definitely grateful for how it has turned out.
"Without those challenges, I wouldn't be where I am now."
At rebuilding West Coast, tall forward Jack Williams has extended his stay for another two seasons until the end of 2026.
Williams has kicked nine goals in 10 games this season, but has been squeezed out of the squad since the return of ruckman Matt Flynn and forward Oscar Allen.
Last year's draftees Harvey Johnston and Clay Hall will also stay at West Coast until the end of 2026 after adding an extra year to their initial contracts.
Eagles academy product Tyrell Dewar, who has played three games since making his debut earlier this year, has signed a deal for 2025.
Greater Western Sydney have re-signed defender Lachie Ash for a further two years, locking him in until the end of 2027.
North Melbourne defender Charlie Comben was also handed a two-year extension until the end of 2027.
